Yorubaland Da'wah: Between the 'Tough' and 'Lax'

Friday 01-Mar-2024, 7:16AM / 638

I think it is now easy to take care of our 'tough' brothers than our 'lax' brothers. The reason I have never subscribed to 'let's stop talking about laxity'.

In the present situation, 'laxity' is more dangerous. Allaah knows better.

'He that is silent about the truth is like a dumb devil'.

The 'lax' people are usually silent evil doers that usually strike when you least expect it. They like to pass every kind of heresy as nothing. To some of them, Sheu Ahmada Tijani was a woli.

They are the ones that would say not joining democratic politics will have a big consequence for the Muslims. They said Muslims must vote for Muslims but if you ask them which of the Muslims should the Muslims vote for they go mute.

When they got to Lagos gubernatorial elections, they abandoned 'vote for Muslims' mantra.

We have not forgotten their song-of-praise for Ikhwaaniyyah and its offshoots in Nigeria. That the offshoots here could not be what the Major Scholars yonder say are evil. The Ikhwaani thoughts here are nice, they tend to say.

We hope they will not one day team up with Safavid elements in Iran in the name of an all-embracing Da'wah.

Their evil is now more evident in their chorus of support for the clear-cut innovators of the Markazi enclave who felt their Supreme Leader was 'unjustly' maligned by one of the Ahlu Sunnah.

They said how dare he called the Supreme Leader of the Marakizah a Taaghut!

Yes, that appellation of Taaghut for the Supreme Leader of the Marakizah might be wrong for it is a subtle takfeer but when the person that made the remark came out and clarified what he meant, which of course was not a takfeer, they never backtracked they rather went on a more rampage showing 'solidarity-forever' for the bloc of heretics of Yorùbáland.

They even condescended to attacking the parents of the other people saying between their parents and the Supreme Leader of the Maraakizah who did more for Islam in Yorùbáland?

Though when the Sahabah of the Messenger of Allaah - sallallahu alayhi wa sallam - were being maligned by Khalifah of the Supreme Leader they were too shy to make a voice.

The 'tough' people will sooner than later calm down, and most often when you confront them with unassailable proofs, they would come down to some extent. They usually have the zeal for the Deen only that....

But those 'lax' people, they would want to drag you back to thirty years where you started from. Most times, they are the people who desire things of this world, and love for positions. In other words, many of them are politicians in the garb of Sunnah.

Lastly, this piece was written not to please anyone. If you are pleased with it perhaps you agree with it, but if you are displeased, it is a free world, as they say but know that we are not free before Allaah.

But let it be on record that this was said at this point in time.

May Allaah rectify me, and all of you.
