Bismillaah-ir-Rahmaan-ir-Raheem

Al-Baghawee recorded in his Ash-Sharee’ah, with its chain, Humaydah bn Ziyaad said: ‘I came to Muhammad bn Ka’b al-Quradhee and said to him: What will you say about the Companions of the Messenger of Allaah – sallallaahu alahyi wa sallam? He replied: ‘All the Companions, the better and less among them, of the Messenger of Allaah – sallallaahu alahyi wa sallam – are in Jannah; I said: What’s your proof for that?’ Then he said: recite the Word of Allaah the Mighty Lord:

And the first forerunners [in the faith] among the Muhaajirun and the Ansar and those who followed them with good conduct - Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him, and He has prepared for them gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. That is the great attainment. [Taubah: 100]

The Messenger of Allaah – sallallaahu alahyi wa sallam – said:
(لاَ تَسُبُّوا أَحَدًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِى فَإِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ لَوْ أَنْفَقَ مِثْلَ أُحُدٍ ذَهَبًا مَا أَدْرَكَ مُدَّ أَحَدِهِمْ وَلاَ نَصِيفَهُ )
‘Do not abuse ANYONE from among my Companions, if any of you were to spend the like of Mount Uhud worth of gold [as charity], he will not attain the measure of ANY of them nor his half.’ [Recorded by Al-Bukhaaree (3673) and Muslim (2541)]

Al-Imaam al-Aajuree (may Allaah bestow mercy on him) said: ‘Whoever abuses them [that is, the Companions] has abused the Messenger of Allaah – sallallaahu alahyi wa sallam, whoever therefore abuses the Messenger of Allaah – sallallaahu alahyi wa sallam – is entitled to curse of Allaah the Mighty and Sublimest, so also from the Malaika and the whole of mankind.’ [Ash-Sharee’ah: 3/ 543].

He also said, may Allaah bestow mercy on him:

‘He is miserable and perished the one that abuses the Companions of the Messenger of Allaah, because such has opposed Allaah and His Messenger – sallallaahu alahyi wa sallam; upon him is the curse of Allaah the Mighty and Sublimest, so also from His Messenger, the Angels and the whole of believers. Allaah the Mighty will not accept any deed from him, recommended or obligatory; he is despised in this world and useless in the Hereafter. May Allaah make them many beneath the soil and save the society from them.’ [Ash-Sharee’ah: 3/ 550].

O you who are brave on this dangerous path, if you have been pushed to this by your love for this world or some other fleeting things, know that you are far away from success.

We know you have masters who have preceded in this dangerous game of yours, and for sure, you are under the tutelage of the mind corrupters of this century. Know that you have nowhere to hide, the more you delve into issues like this the more you are exposed and become despised. Those who did that before you became forgotten in the annals despite their exasperating efforts in bringing down the Sahabah in general, and Mu’aawiya in particular.

You should read about Ahmad Al-Ghumaaree and his teacher Ibn ‘Aqeel al-Hadramee, they were too bitter about Mu’aawiyah bn Abee Sufyaan. Al-Hadramee did write a book he named: ‘Priceless Advice for He Who Takes Mu’aawiyya As A Friend.’ It was a foolish book full of trash. Al-Imaam JamalDeen al-Qaasimee (may Allaah bestow mercy on him) wrote a beautiful refutation of the book.

And in this century we would see morbid haters such as Abbaas Mahmood Al-Aqqaad so also Husayn Mu’anis, and Muhammad Bak Al-Khudaree. Ta-Ha Husayn was one of the detractors, that name should not be new to you. Was he not one of your arrowheads in Raafidee-Ikhwaanee leaning?

If you accused Mu’aawiyya of being a liar, your teacher in that accusation was your infamous Sayyid Qutb! Yes, your very ‘excellent’ Sayyid Qutb. He accused Mu’aawiyya of lying, treachery, deceit, hypocrisy, bribery and other evils in his book, Kutubun Wa Shakhsiyaat p.242. it was a despicable effrontery from him.

The Salaf also warned you, will you take heed?

Ibn Umar – may Allaah be pleased with him – said: ‘Do not abuse the Companions of Muhammad, the station of any of them for an hour is better than the deeds of any of you of forty years.’

In another narration, he said: ‘than the lifetime acts of worship of any of you.’ [Al-Imaam Ahmad recorded it under the Chapter: ‘Excellence of the Companions of the Messenger of Allaah,’ Ibn Maajah also recorded it and Ash-Shaykh Al-Albaanee graded it as hasan in Saheeh Ibn Maajah]. Abdullaah bn ‘Abbaas – may Allaah be pleased with him – had a similar statement.

Maymoon bn Mihraan said, Ibn ‘Abbaas told me: ‘Guard over three things: ‘Be careful of gazing at the stars, it invites to soothsaying, be careful of delving into issue of Qadar, it invites to heresy, and be careful of abusing ANY of the Companions of Muhammad, lest Allaah throw you face flat into the Fire.’’ [Recorded by al-Laalakaaa’ee in his ‘Aqeedah].

Al-Imaam Ahmad (may Allaah bestow mercy on him) said: ‘When you see a man speaking ill of ANY of the Companions, suspect his Islam.’ [Al-Laalakaaa’ee recorded it in his Aqeedah].

Al-Imaam Al-Bar’bahaaree (how much you despised this great Imaam) said: ‘Know that when a person speaks ill of any of the Companions of the Messenger of Allaah, know that his desire is to hurt Muhammad – sallallaahu alahyi wa sallam – in his grave.’

He (may Allaah bestow mercy on him) also said: ‘When you see a man saying evil about ANY of the Companions of the Messenger of Allaah, know that he is a companion of evil speech and desires.’

Those who abused the Sahaba in the past time were all abandoned and went into oblivion, so be prepared.

Al-Imaam ‘Abdullaah bn Mubaarak (may Allaah bestow mercy on him) would announce in public as thus: ‘Shun ‘Amr bn Thaabit, he used to abuse the Salaf.’ [Muslim in the Muqaddimah of his Saheeh, 16].

Al-Imaam Al-Aajuree (may Allaah bestow mercy on him) said: ‘I asked Abu Daawud about ‘Amr bn Thaabit, he said: ‘he is a filthy raafidee.’’

Yahyaa bn Maeen (may Allaah bestow mercy on him) was asked regarding Yoonus bn Khabbaab, he said: ‘He is not trustworthy, he used to abuse the Companions of the Prophet. Whoever abuses the Companions of the Prophet is not trustworthy.’

Where is your trustworthiness now?

If you attack Mu’aawiyya, where will you place all the narrations via him from the Messenger of Allaah?

Do you know he reported this great hadeeth…?

‘Whoever Allaah intends good for He will let him have the proper understanding of the Deen. I am just a sharer, Allaah is the Giver. The affair of this Ummah will not cease to be upright until the Hour shall come to pass or until the command of Allaah shall come.’

Do you know the hadeeth was reported by Mu’aawiyya from the Messenger of Allaah, and was duly recorded by the greater preservers of the hadeeth such as Al-Imaam Al-Bukhaaree, Muslim and others?

Do you really attack him while he was among the noble scribes of the Messenger of Allaah? How will you prove it you are not a raafidee?

Were you aware the Prophet – sallallaahu alahyi wa sallam – foretold the emergence of Mu’aawiya as a king in Islam? Go and read the report of Umm Haraam in Saheeh al-Bukhaaree and Muslim about the prophesy of the Messenger of Allaah – sallallaahu alahyi wa sallam – about the advent of Mu’aawiyya as a Muslim ruler.

Do you think Umar and Uthmaan were fools when they made Mu’aawiyya a Governor of a volatile region in their respective reigns?

Said Shaykh Islam ibn Taymiyyah (may Allaah bestow mercy on him) : ‘Umar was the most knowledgeable about the affairs of men and was the most adept in terms of governance and most faraway from desires, he did not appoint Mu’aawiyah as a Governor except that he was sure that he was up to the task, so also was Uthman, when Umar died he expanded the area controlled by Mu’aawiyah.’ [Minhaajus-Sunnah, 6/247].

Al-Auzaa’ee (may Allaah bestow mercy on him) said: ‘A number of Sahabah were alive during the reign of Mu’aawiyah such as Usaamah [bn Zayd], Sa’d [bn Abee Waqqaas], Jaabir [bn Abdillaah], Abdullaah bn ‘Umar, Zayd bn Thaabit, Maslamah bn Makhlad, Abu Sa’eed al-Khudree, Rafee bn Khadeej, Abu Umaamah [Al-Baahilee], Anas bn Maalik and many other great many who were essentially lamps of guidance and vessels of knowledge. They were there when the Book was being revealed, and what was new in the Deen. They knew about Islam what others did not know, they took the meanings of the Qur’aan from the Messenger of Allaah – sallallaahu alahyi wa sallam. And there were others that followed them in goodness such as Miswar bn Makhramah, AbdurRahmaan bn Al-Aswad, Saeed bn al-Musayyib, Abdullaah bn Muhayriz and others like them. They never removed their hands from obedience…’

Do you now know more than they did?

Qataadah (may Allaah bestow mercy on him) said: ‘I said to al-Hasan [Al-Basree], some people are testifying that Mu’aawiyah is in Hell. He said: ‘Upon them is the curse of Allaah.’’ [Ash-Sharee’ah, 3/521].

Al-Mu’aafaa bn ‘Imraan (may Allaah bestow mercy on him) was asked, ‘Who was better between Mu’aawiya and ‘Umar bn AbdilAzeez?’ Al-Mu’aafaa became angry and said: ‘Will you place a man from among the Companions of the Messenger of Allaah – sallallaahu alahyi wa sallam – on the same footing with a man from among the Taabieen? Mu’aawiyah was a Companion of the Messenger of Allaah, he was his in-law, his scribe and his secretary on Revelations from Allaah.’ Taarikh Baghdad, 1/209.

Abdullaah bn Mubaarak – rahimahu-Llaahu – was also asked the same question, he replied: ‘The earth which Mu’aawiyah rubbed his nose in some of the battles he fought alongside the Messenger of Allaah – sallallaahu alahyi wa sallam – is better than ‘Umar bn AbdilAzeez.’

Qataadah (may Allaah bestow mercy on him) said: ‘if you could wake up and did the like of what Mu’aawiyah did, many of you will say this is the Mahdee we are awaiting.’

Some people praised Umar bn AbdilAzeez (may Allaah bestow mercy on him) and his sense of justice in ruling over the people. Al-‘Amash (may Allaah bestow mercy on him) said: ‘What will the people say if they met the time of Mu’aawiyah?’ They asked him, ‘In terms of his meekness?’ He said: ‘Rather his sense of justice!’

Only a fool will still despise Mu’aawiyah bn Abee Sufyaan bn Harb – may Allaah be pleased with the son and the father.

We hope you and your goons will retrace your steps.
