Oh brethren, being barren has a solution and the solution is prayer.
Allaah also mentioned the barren people in the Qur'an He later blessed with children.
Prophet Zakariyyah (may Allaah be pleased with him), when Allaah was talking about him in the holy Qur'an.
Prophet Zakariyyah was calling upon Allaah in a Mosque; he supplicated to Allaah to bless him with children.
Prayer, prayer, prayer is the solution to barreness.
Allaah is the only one you'll be calling, He is our Creator and He is the One who gives children.
O brethren, Prophet Ibraheem also asked Allaah for children.
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 100:
رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
"My Lord! Grant me (offspring) from the righteous."
Surah Maryam, Verse 7:
يَا زَكَرِيَّا إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلَامٍ اسْمُهُ يَحْيَىٰ لَمْ نَجْعَل لَّهُ مِن قَبْلُ سَمِيًّا
(Allah said) "O Zakariya (Zachariah)! Verily, We give you the glad tidings of a son, His name will be Yahya (John). We have given that name to none before (him)."
Surah Maryam, Verse 8:
قَالَ رَبِّ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِي غُلَامٌ وَكَانَتِ امْرَأَتِي عَاقِرًا وَقَدْ بَلَغْتُ مِنَ الْكِبَرِ عِتِيًّا
He said: "My Lord! How can I have a son, when my wife is barren, and I have reached the extreme old age."
Allaah gave prophet Zakariyyah good news that.
Surah Maryam, Verse 9:
قَالَ كَذَٰلِكَ قَالَ رَبُّكَ هُوَ عَلَيَّ هَيِّنٌ وَقَدْ خَلَقْتُكَ مِن قَبْلُ وَلَمْ تَكُ شَيْئًا
He said: "So (it will be). Your Lord says; It is easy for Me. Certainly I have created you before, when you had been nothing!"
O brethren, prophet Zakariyyah was telling Allaah
Surah Maryam, Verse 4:
قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي وَهَنَ الْعَظْمُ مِنِّي وَاشْتَعَلَ الرَّأْسُ شَيْبًا وَلَمْ أَكُن بِدُعَائِكَ رَبِّ شَقِيًّا
Saying: "My Lord! Indeed my bones have grown feeble, and grey hair has spread on my head, And I have never been unblest in my invocation to You, O my Lord!
O brethren, Prophet Ibraheem also asked for children from Allaah.
Surah As-Saaffat, Verse 100:
رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
"My Lord! Grant me (offspring) from the righteous."
You see, those past prophets of Allaah who did not have children or those whose wives were barren, Allaah is using them as example s for us who are yet to have children or those who thought they are barren or those who got pregnant later than expected, Allaah is using them as example that the power He used on the past generation (the Prophet's of Allaah who conceived late), if you call on me, I will bless you with children.
(It's pathetic that) you are going from places to places another, you are going to idol-worshippers' house, you are eating what you are not expected to eat.
