One: Returning to the Noble Qur'ân and the Authentic Prophetic Sunnah, understanding both upon the manner in which Salafus-Sâlih understood them. Thereby acting by the Words of our Lord:
'And whoever contradicts and opposes the Messenger after the Right Path has been shown clearly to him, and follows other than the believers' way. We shall keep him in the path he has chosen, and burn him in Hell - what an evil destination ' [Nisâ: 115].
So also in acting with Allâh's Statement:
'So if they believe in the like of that which you (the Companions of the Messenger of Allâh – Sal-Allaahu 'alayhe Wa Sallam) believe, then they are rightly guided, but if they turn away, then they are only in opposition…' [al-Baqarah: 137].
Two: Purifying the lives of the Muslims from what has mixed with them in terms of Shir'k in all its ramifications; warning the Muslims about reprehensible innovations and evil thoughts that have crept (into the fold of the Muslims); so also is purifying the Sunnah from weak and fabricated narrations that have stained the purity of Islam and militated against the growth of the Muslims in terms of rendering the responsibility of delivering the (correct knowledge to the world). This is as said by the Messenger of Allaah (Sal-Allaahu 'alayhe Wa Sallam):
'They will bear this knowledge (of Islam), the trustworthy ones among the later generations; they will safeguard it from the distortions of those who exceed the bounds, (and from) the arrogation of those who want to render it useless, and the misinterpretation of the ignorant ones.' [Recorded by Al-Bayhaqî; graded Saheeh by al-Imaam Al-Albaanee in Mishkaat Al-Masaabeeh, 51].
The statement of the Messenger of Allah (Sal-Allaahu 'alayhe Wa Sallam) above is in consonance with the command of Allâh the Majestic Lord that goes thus:
'Help you one another in righteousness and piety; but do not help one another in sin and transgression. And fear Allâh. Verily, Allâh is severe in punishment.' [Mâidah: 2].
Three: Educating the Muslims with regard to their true religion, and calling them to acting with its laws, so also (calling them to) adorning themselves with its virtues and manners which ensure the Pleasure of Allâh for them, and actualize success and glory for them (in this world and the Hereafter). This is also the implication of the description of the Qur'ân as regard the group that is exempted from loss (in them life):
'…and recommend one another to the truth (i.e. order one another to perform all kinds of good deeds which Allâh has ordained, and abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which Allâh has forbidden), and recommend one another to patience (for the sufferings, harms, and injuries which one may encounter in Allâh's Cause during preaching His religion of Islâmic Monotheism).' [Al-Asr: 4].
So also as commanded by Allâh the Majestic:
'…be you Rabbaniyoon (learned men of religion who practise what they know and also preach to others), because you are teaching the Book, and you are studying it." [Aal-'Imrân: 79].
Four: Reviving the authentic Islamic knowledge-based methodology under the auspices of the Qur'ân and Sunnah and upon the path of the early generations of the Ummah, so also is uprooting (from the sense of the Muslims) bigotry to schools-of-thought and group fanaticism both of which have affected the intellect of many Muslims, and have distanced them from carrying out the pure Islamic brotherhood which Islam came with. This is according to the Command of Allâh the Mighty Lord:
'And hold fast, all of you together, to the Rope of Allâh (i.e. This Qur'ân, and, in effect, the Sunnah), and be not divided among yourselves…' [Aal-'Imrân: 103] .
So also is the statement of the Messenger of Allâh (Sal-Allaahu 'alayhe Wa Sallam): 'Be brothers to one another, O slaves of Allâh.' (Graded Saheeh by Ash-Shaykh Al-Albaanee in Saheeh Al-Jaami' number 2679).
Five: Not inciting people against their rulers even if the latter were to be sinful; no incitement upon the manaabir (Friday sermons) or other ways, this is because such a disposition contradicts the guidance of Salafus-Sâlih. We will not do that, in compliance with the statement of the Messenger of Allâh (Sal-Allaahu 'alayhe Wa Sallam): 'Whoever wants to give advice to the ruler, he should not do that in public, he should rather hold his hands, if the ruler listens to him good, and if not, he has rendered his duty.' The hadith is authentic; Recorded by Ahmad in Musnad (3/403) and at-Tabaraanee in Mu'jam Al-Kabeer (17/367). The hadeeth is graded Saheeh by al-Imaam Al-Albaanee in Dhilaalul-Jannah Fee Takhreej As-Sunnah (2/507). See 'Protests and Public Demonstrations' of Aboo Naasir p.27.
This is our Da'wah (the Salafees all over the world), we call on all the Muslims to assist us in bearing this responsibility that aims at bringing growth (for the Muslims) and spread the message of Islam forever; this upon the true form of brotherhood and pure love with trust in Allâh Who grants them success and establishes His righteous slaves on earth.
'…but honour, power and glory belong to Allâh, His Messenger, and to the believers...' [Al-Munaafiqoon: 8].
'He it is Who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the Religion of Truth (Islâmic Monotheism) to make it victorious over all (other) religions even though the Mushrikûn (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh and in His Messenger hate (it). [As-Saff: 9].
And may Allâh exalt the mention of His slave and Messenger, our Prophet, Muhammad; may He bestow him with peace and blessing, so also his family, all his Companions and those who follow them in goodness till the Day of Resurrection.
