Our brother, AMS, speaks of people who have to visit Google and libraries "before making their inspiring posts", when he, the avid reader, had acquired the information they're searching for decades earlier. That applies to me very, very well - no pretence.
However, that avidity of his would have been impressive but for his habitual misprocessing of the information he acquires as evident in his frequent blunders when discussing the Deen. We advise that he too learn to be inspiring by being less rash and boastful of his prowess when he writes about Islam. Real tigers need not proclaim their own 'tigeritude'. They act it.
On the ideal Muslim attitude to evil Muslim rulers, which is the focus of this post, it can be broadly summarized as follows:
1. Dislike the evil that they do and disobey their evil orders but not so their correct orders.
2. Even when you disobey their evil orders, do not stir a revolt against rulers but you may seek audience with them to advise them and hear their excuses too.
3. When they seize your property or any right of yours unjustly, you may ask but not fight them for it; rather than do that, the Messenger advises that you maintain patience until you meet him in the hereafter.
4. As long as they remain Muslims and despite whatever may be their shortcomings, you still owe them the duty to defend them and the land against aggression and whoever may seek to dethrone them by force.
Why all this even if the ruler is unjust? Another post to come will address that inshaAllah.
